Our team’s vision is to provide excellent dental care for lifetime health. As a result, we focus on three pillars of patient care: comprehensive treatment planning, excellent clinical treatment, and education.
In order to meet our vision, we need to get to know our patients so that we can tailor our planning, treatment, and education to meet their specific situations. During your appointments, you can expect us to spend time getting to know you and listening to your fears, concerns, and goals for treatment.
The doctors are dedicated to maintaining excellent clinical standards and consistently research new materials and techniques to make sure our services are up to date and of the highest quality. |
Our team values education. We attend many classes to advance our own education, and we place a strong emphasis on clear communication with our patients. Recognizing that many patients leave medical offices without a clear idea of how to maintain their health, our team focuses many of our training sessions on communication skills.
Although serious about delivering excellent dental care, we have fun at work. You can’t help feeling relaxed and comfortable when you listen to the laughter and the friendly camaraderie of our office staff. Experience our warm and considerate approach to dental care firsthand.
Our services include:
Comprehensive initial examination
During your initial exam, we’ll get know you and learn all the details of your oral health. We’ll go over your medical and dental history, then examine your teeth and gums carefully for any signs of decay or problems. You’ll receive an oral cancer screening, and we will examine your bite and jaw joints. We’ll also take a complete set of low-radiation, digital X-rays as well as digital photographs of your smile. Our patients often tell us they’ve never had such a thorough examination.
During this visit, we’ll spend a lot of time talking with you. We’ll ask about your concerns and goals for dental treatment, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions about our practice and treatments.
After your first appointment, we’ll schedule a follow-up visit for teeth cleaning. We’ll also set up a separate appointment for a consultation, during which we’ll go over the findings of the initial exam, discuss implications of the findings, and present any treatment possibilities that apply to your specific situation.

Periodontal diagnosis and treatment
Periodontal disease poses a threat not only to your teeth and gums but also to your overall health. The bacteria that cause periodontal disease have been linked to health problems such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and low-birth-weight babies.
During your visits, we will check thoroughly for any signs of periodontal disease. If you have a problem, we offer non-surgical treatments. Once we have your disease under control, we’ll help prevent recurrences by close monitoring with follow-up appointments and teaching necessary homecare routines.
TMJ
Dr. Jeff is pursuing advanced training in TMJ and occlusion (bite) with the renowned Dawson Center in St.
Petersburg, Florida. Ultrasound analysis of the joints may be done to permit more accurate diagnosis, and any recommended treatment is based on diagnosis of the teeth, muscles, and joint itself.
